GAO ISSUES GOVERNMENT CONTRACTOR CLARIFICATION (Government Accountability Office) has announced a clarification regarding contractor services for the federal government. In summary the clarification states, it is now legal to do what many agencies have already been practicing, which is hire a contractor (no-cost contract) and allow them to charge attendees/exhibitors/etc., to recoup their costs.
